We are so excited to share some very exciting news with you! As you remember, we asked for prayer earlier in the year when our publisher went out of business - effectively making our books unavailable. We were stymied, unsure what to do. Well, as God often does, He has turned our trial into a testimony, providing a way when we saw none.
First of all, our devotional books - "Classic Christianity: A Year of Timeless Devotions, Volumes I and II" should be re-released by mid-month. We are hoping for a date of September 15th, 2015. What is MOST amazing? The price of the books is actually going to go DOWN from the first edition - and we are hoping this will make them more accessible to many more people who need a plan for their daily quiet time! We are rejoicing that everything has come together so beautifully!
Now...(drumroll, please!)...the BIG news! Classic Christianity is so pleased to announce that our first two children's devotional storybooks are currently being illustrated for publication! Our illustrator, Suzi Spooner, has forwarded us the introductory family pictures for Papa and Nana Meade and their family. We just had to share them with you!

Introducing Papa and Nana Meade
The At Papa's Knee tales are woven in a homey farm setting with the escapades and adventures of the children serving as the basis for Biblically-based life-lessons. As the children turn to Papa in their difficulties, his kindly advice is encapsulated in a memorable story which is easy for children to remember and apply to their everyday experience. Each story is followed by discussion starters highlighting scripture applicable to the lesson as well as questions and a prayer to end the story time.

We would sure appreciate your prayers as the At Papa's Knee books are in process, and also as the original Classic Christianity: A Year of Timeless Devotions books are soon to be re-released in a second edition. There are so many details to oversee, and decisions to make - and Patti & I are anxious that each decision be made under the guidance and for the glory of God.
Introducing Peter & Mercedes Meade and their family! Thank you for holding us up in prayer - we desire to see individuals and families growing in the knowledge and love of the Savior! It is truly a miracle to see how God took what looked like a disaster (our publisher going out of business) and has instead turned it into a blessing, with the books being more easily available and at a lower price! We will keep you up to date as the release dates approach!
