The town came together to pray that the dealers would find the Lord and stop their
selling of illegal drugs, or be arrested and be sent away to think about it. The miracles started happening, one after another. Drug busts occurred, unprecedented in number and scope. The Holy Spirit quickened our townspeople to notice what had been unnoticed. Tips poured in and arrests were made. How we thank God for the clean sweep He was making through our area.
Then it started happening. At the town prayer meeting first one, then another dealer started appearing. People gasped, tears flowed, praises rose. As they were welcomed and ministered to by the Christian community, decisions were made, lives were changed, those who had been mightily used by the deceiver became new creations in Jesus. There were new births, professions of faith, and baptisms. Hallelujah to the Holy name of the Lord!
The work is not finished. Discipleship classes have begun. At one class a woman walked in the door showing a vicious spirit and threatening to kill the leader. She was immediately tended to by faithful believers while the class went on. Such is the substance of spiritual warfare on the frontiers of faith.
Won't you pray for our town, the faithful lawmen, the courageous prayer warriors, those who minister head-on with those who are new creations in Christ? We are praying against those who would seek to take the place of those who have been removed. We pray the same for them: prison, or turn to Jesus.
We are praying this little town's spiritual battle inspires towns and individuals across the land - what is it that is entrenched in your spiritual life? There is NOTHING too big for God, dear friend!
2 Cor. 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ he is a new creation: old things have passed away, behold, all things have become new.
