I am up early to feed our pygmy goats so Pary waits for me each morning in the corral by the barn. He treats me to an incredible show as I go about my duties, waiting for the piece of bread he knows is coming. Not a morning passes that I'm not forced to stop and admire this unbelieveably beautiful creation. His royal blue body touts a matching crown. His feathers are of irridescent mint greens, blues, coppers, and silvers, all arranged in perfect order, finely spaced and arranged in a massive bouquet. Pary takes my breath away.
Seeing Pary turns my heart to worship the Creator who designed this masterpiece. How intricate is the design, how wonderful the sight, yet I cannot fathom what purpose the Lord had for such a bird if not the blessing of His children and a reminder of that grandness of His workmanship. Yes, Pary fulfills his purpose wonderfully.
Ephesians 2:10 tells us that "We are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them."
Dear Lord, let me be faithful to You wherever You place me in life. Thank you for making me perfectly and precisely for the plans You have for me, and please help me to fulfill Your perfect plan for me to Your glory.
