Clothing that Brings Hope...

Next up in our series of ministry highlights - We are excited to introduce you to Malachi Clothing. Based in Southern California,  this is a distinctively fashion-forward line of clothes with both a Christian flair and a faith-filled purpose.

Designed to promote faith and charity, the unique trendy clothing and jewelry is more than just a pretty face on a Christian message. For every item purchased, a care package is given to a homeless person, and a connection is made for Christ.

Malachi’s hottest line of necklaces are made by homeless teens, and include a little background on the person who made the necklace, so you can pray for them - precisely for them. This ministry believes strongly in the power of precise prayer - and they have the testimonies to back up their belief!

What amazing goals: to minister to the homeless, to offer employment to them as they can, and to grow awareness of the needs right around us. Not only that, but they can bring their mobile store to a church or locale anywhere in the area – and they book online!

Fashion has never looked so good!

Really  - Garrett (the founder of Malachi Clothing) says it better than we can – take a look as we meet him here, and visit them over at malachiclothing.com !

We hope you are enjoying meeting some of the wonderful ministries we were introduced to this summer. It is overwhelming, really, to see how many people are using their gifts & talents to serve the Lord in a myriad of ways. How exciting to see the presence of faithful hearts in so many avenues of service! We hope this is as encouraging to you as it is to us.

Blessings,

Cara & Patti

Continuing our series of "Ministry Highlights" - we are excited to tell you about the #1 Christian Super Hero, according to Relevant Magazine. In fact, we saw more "buzz" around this ministry, and true excitement for the potential to reach kids and teens, than we have ever seen.
Pastor Clint D. Johnson and his wife Shawntrice are the creators and designers of Christian Action Heroes - and WOW! Once you have seen Faith Walker and the contingent of amazing heroes that stand on the Word of God, you will understand why so many children's ministers and youth leaders were excited by the concept and the reality.
Mercy Maiden, Lady Virtuous, Prayer Warrior, WhizDome, and Chaplain are the core of FaithWalker's spiritually powerful friends who "Take the Light to the Fight." As Pastor Clint says, by merging super heroics and holiness, they are able to produce stories to inspire kids and have faith in God.

"Taking the Light to the Fight"
As we looked through the graphic novels, trading cards, and curriculum, we were struck by one thing - these Christian Action Heroes are steeped in Scripture and proclaim truth - all in a graphic novel format that is absolutely magnetic for kids!
Check it out on their website, where you can see all the currently available graphic novels, the curriculum - they even do live events!

In this age of ever-increasing popularity of super-hero movies and characters, how WONDERFUL to finally have a great group of action heroes whose strength is in their faith in Christ, whose actions and graphic novels are not only ultra-cool, but use that cool factor to glorify God. Can you imagine an action hero whose trading card lists his or her favorite SCRIPTURE? Then, you can see how powerful Christian Action Heroes are. We told our favorite children's and youth ministers. We hope you do too!

Blessings!

Ministry Highlight: Bible-vr.com

Patti looks around the Church of the Nativity. We were amazed at how clever the VR setup is. That's a iphone in that inexpensive headset, providing the visuals!!
Whew - our whirlwind convention season is over. What a blessing to speak with so many, to  have the opportunity to encourage believers, pray with them,  and challenge each other with God's Word. I'll give you an update on our summer in a future blog post, but today we want to bring you another ministry highlight - and this one is truly a "trip"!

Bible-vr.com rep Michael Montoya, above right, had the busiest stop in the convention as he debuted a fantastic new way to immerse yourself in the time & place of the Bible. Have you wondered what it would have been like to "be there"? Bible-vr.com can take you straight to the streets of the New Testament.

Downtown New Testament! The production team was just back from filming in Israel days before the convention.
Bible-vr.com 's amazing reenactments can help you find out exactly what it would have been like to be there - as Mary visits Elizabeth, as the disciples sit with Jesus, as Jesus feeds the 5,000. With new releases every week, this could be an innovation that unlocks the reality of the gospels for kids and adults in your ministry! Take a look - we were sure impressed, and were almost literally knocked off our feet. It is new, it's different - but it sure seems like a spectacular way to make the gospel come alive!

Gospel VR, Bible VR, Holy Land VR - all as near as your smartphone. Check it out - you really will "see it to believe it."

For Him!
